Message Yeah because there was no need for it to shine, the car was brand new and obviously not in danger of fading/cracking. Our cars are twenty one years old and the "shiny" appearance armor all gives off is to protect the dash from cracking, fading, and to reflect light. So it needs to be somewhat oil and shiny to do its job. If it left behind a bone dry appearance I would be a little concerned about its protective qualities.
